For 18 years Marques Wyatt and his Deep team have prided themselves on presenting the finest electronic music DJs from around the world. As LA’s longest running house music event, it has established itself and more or less created the House music scene in the greater Los Angeles area. All in all, it’s not just an inviting dance floor, deep house records, and big bass speakers. Deep is a vibe unlike any other, where the collective energy of its dedicated patrons are free to dance in celebration of life and enjoy a night of individual expression with a sense of unity among others.

DEEP-LA (Music Events)

I’m not a big TV guy and I tend to fall asleep in movies, so most of my leisure time goes towards finding that perfect song to play out at a club, lounge, outdoor event, or festival. The infinite amount of music we are blessed to stream, download, or buy on vinyl, has become not only an addiction but some kind of therapy to not only enjoy my alone time but block out all that is not going into my ears. Folamour is a new name to me but this track on his release from Jamie Trench’s label Roots for Bloom had me singing along within the first 10 listens. What I’m trying to say is I listened to it 10 times in a row at least. Repeat value is through the roof! One of the best Spring/Summer vibes I have heard this year. Vinyl only release but currently in stock on various online vinyl shops.

My track of the week.

Everyday there are two naturally occurring phenomenons, where pastel colors paint the sky, lakes and seas embody the reflection of the heavens above, and a moment to reflect our gaze in the direction of our star that makes life here possible. These are photos of the golden hour.

This angle doesn’t do my jump justice 😂 but nonetheless happy that a random girl on the beach took a photo of me while I hit the ball around with my mom. Can’t say there is anything better than to be in the sand doing the thing I love at sunset.

Fresh seafood appetizers and mescal or jalapeño-infused tequila cocktails are the standouts on the casual but classy well-rounded menu.
