A day trip to Port Townsend means weird beers, scenic sights, probably some drunchies and a chance to truly find myself. 🤞🏻The Strange Brewfest is like most beee festivals in that you receive a tasting glass and four tasting tokens (which you pretend to place in the collection pots), except it features daring blends. Some beers involve breakfast cereal while some are designed to taste like salmon or marijuana.

This month ended on the most improbably positive note: /I/ got a 90 on a Stats quiz. Math makes me cry more than humans or chemical imbalances, so it’s kind of a big deal.

People say it’s all mediocre. But is it? I grew up in San Diego, which means my burrito game has been strong. This string will attempt to rate Seattle’s burritos, one burrito at a time. 🌯🌮

Chicken burrito with guacamole from El Camión (6416 15th Ave. NW). This burrito was pretty tasty, though it was at times reminiscent of Chipotle. What makes this burrito a standout in Seattle is the orange salsa they have as part of their salsa bar. It’s very reminiscent of stuff from down south. However, the burrito packs a HEAVY punch. Eat *after* you’re drunk, not before. Don’t make the same mistake I did...4/5 stars
