Our first theme: SIGNALS
Nothing you are trying to build, make stronger, make leaner or make faster is going to get that way unless you send the correct signals. While this sounds vague and perhaps arbitrary to most, it is the primary difference between people who consistently achieve fitness and strength goals, and those who never make any gains and burnout in plateau.
How do we send these signals? We create mind-muscle connection. Exercise starts with the mind. This how the idiot lifting 65lb dumbbells jerking all over the place, or swaying back and forth always stays exactly the same, while a trainee lifting 25lbs with intense focus can experience rapid gains.
This string is about creating a mindset around your workout — whatever you are doing, that helps you tap directly into full control over your nervous system, making it grow, so that you will achieve the mind-body connection you need to succeed.
